Wall Street’s New Rule Is ‘Avoid Women At All Cost’

It’s amazing how “empowered women” seamlessly transition into “damsels in distress” whenever it suits them.

#MeToo Backfires: Wall Street’s New Rule Is ‘Avoid Women At All Cost’

No one could have predicted this!
From Bloomberg:

No more dinners with female colleagues. Don’t sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings.

In fact, as a wealth adviser put it, just hiring a woman these days is “an unknown risk.” What if she took something he said the wrong way?

Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women.

Just ignore the fact #MeToo made life infinitely harder for men.

Call it the Pence Effect, after U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, who has said he avoids dining alone with any woman other than his wife. In finance, the overarching impact can be, in essence, gender segregation.

Interviews with more than 30 senior executives suggest many are spooked by #MeToo and struggling to cope. “It’s creating a sense of walking on eggshells,” said David Bahnsen, a former managing director at Morgan Stanley who’s now an independent adviser overseeing more than $1.5 billion.

Many are also having their lives destroyed due to false accusations.

Now, more than a year into the #MeToo movement — with its devastating revelations of harassment and abuse in Hollywood, Silicon Valley and beyond — Wall Street risks becoming more of a boy’s club, rather than less of one.

“Women are grasping for ideas on how to deal with it, because it is affecting our careers,” said Karen Elinski, president of the Financial Women’s Association and a senior vice president at Wells Fargo & Co. “It’s a real loss.”

Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps!

There’s a danger, too, for companies that fail to squash the isolating backlash and don’t take steps to have top managers be open about the issue and make it safe for everyone to discuss it, said Stephen Zweig, an employment attorney with FordHarrison.

“If men avoid working or traveling with women alone, or stop mentoring women for fear of being accused of sexual harassment,” he said, “those men are going to back out of a sexual harassment complaint and right into a sex discrimination complaint.”

This is the ridiculous situation we now find ourselves in.

Being accused of sexual discrimination is nothing compared to being falsely accused of rape, so don’t expect this trend to reverse.

The Diversity Imperative

“Every time I’ve been in a room, most people in that room looked like me, sound like me.”

American Fighting Man David Goldfein, the current chief of staff of the United States Air Force, spoke to entrants in the “Spark Tank Competition” at the annual Air Warfare Symposium at Orlando, Florida on February 28, 2019

The Spark Tank Competition’s website explains that it “celebrate[s] Air Force risk-takers, idea makers and entrepreneurs who refuse to accept the status quo and have determined their own fate by developing solutions that make it easier for the Air Force to bring the very best to the fight.”

Goldfein told the assembled Risk-Takers,

“The challenges we face as a nation are wicked hard, and it’s going to take folks with different backgrounds, different life experiences, and different perspectives to be able to come in and sit down together and provide the creative solutions that we as a nation need to be able to fight and win.”

For decades, science fiction publisher Vox Day warned against the madness of Marxist-Leninist political correctness and describes Heritage America’s capitulation to it as a moral failure of men to, well, act like men.

God help America. Here is a comment by Doktor_Jeep at Vox Populi:

So yeah. We’re screwed. All of our other mistakes are covered up well with air power. We’re going to find out the hard way how you can’t win a war with Ritalin-kids and drones.

The USAF was always the vanguard of poz in the armed forces overall. I was there in the 90s when this crap started.

Qanon, RBG and the Boy Scouts

The mysterious “Q” thought to be a kind of spokesman for a secret military intelligence psyop against the Communist Left, mentioned the Boy Scouts again today, repeating an 8chan “drop” several weeks ago about AWOL supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

You see, RBG once worked as a radical lawyer and was one of two ghost writers for “Sex Bias in the U.S. Code” a publication of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

You see, the American Man is a formidable foe and the bolshevik Left cannot defeat him directly. But the American Boy is vulnerable, nearly so much as the American Girl. The Boy Scouts of America was too tempting a target to pass up.

Why was she ‘selected’?
Who appointed her?
Remember [her] history.
Ref: 230-page book called Sex Bias in the U.S. Code, published in 1977 by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
Highlights:
>Called for the sex-integration of prisons and reformatories so that conditions of imprisonment, security and housing could be equal. She explained, “If the grand design of such institutions is to prepare inmates for return to the community as persons equipped to benefit from and contribute to civil society, then perpetuation of single-sex institutions should be rejected.” (Page 101)
>Called for the sex-integration of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts because they “perpetuate stereotyped sex roles.” (Page 145)
