The raven himself is hoarse That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan Under my battlements. Come, you spirits That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, And fill me from the crown to the toe topful Of direst cruelty! — Macbeth Act 1, scene 5, 38–43
Many current scouters and parents of boy scouts, fathers as well as mothers, genuinely do not understand why many Americans are aghast at the unsexing of American society, particularly of the Boy Scouts of America.
Firstly, B.S.A. Inc imposed females on us with 1972’s “Improved Scouting Program” that nearly killed boy scouting if not for a superficial pull-back in 1979.
(It is important to notice the underlying damage of ISP was not undone with the return of Green Bar Bill’s traditionalist handbook. The revisionist manipulation of the Boy Scout Oath and Law remained and most adult boy scout alumni never experienced actual boy scouting. They know only “improved” boy scouting — a shadow of the real thing!)
In case you wondered why the B.S.A. Inc. had to uproot 100 years of tradition because globohomo spies like Gates and flyover yahoos like Randall Stephenson, Rex Tillerson, and Mike Surbaugh cried about “muh rights” . . .
Check out this old gem from the Socialist Unity Party of Germany:
Notice the deliberate lies by the B.S.A. Inc. spokesscout. One marvels at the sheer talent of deception and misdirection employed by Our Betters.
“Contrary to media reports, the Boy Scouts of America has no plans to change its membership policy. The introduction of a resolution does not indicate the organization is ‘reviewing’ a policy or signal a change in direction,” according to an official statement from the Boy Scouts of America national office on June 7.
(CNSNews.com) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney this week reiterated his view that the Boy Scouts of America should admit homosexuals as Scouts and Scout leaders. He also supports the right of the Scouts to decide their own policies.
Currently, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) does not admit homosexuals as Scouts or Scout leaders.
Romney first expressed his view that the Boy Scouts should admit homosexuals in 1994. When Romney was running for the U.S. Senate that year against Democrat Sen. Ted Kennedy, he said “all people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.”
Here’s a fascinating case from 1974 about a purported homosexual sea scout skipper and the BSA’s allowed expiration of his credentials and the unit’s charter.
You see, in 1974 even a Philadelphia judge could embrace reality that today would end with him afraid to walk the streets of the City of Brotherly Luvs.
Despite his counsel’s vigorous assertions, there is no doctrine of law which could require a responsible organization like the Boy Scouts to accept individuals in leadership roles who have questionable character even though the Boy Scouts could not establish a prior conviction or produce proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The future of its youth is a nation’s most precious asset; yet by definition the young are frail, vulnerable and malleable. Their future strength may well be dependent upon whether they are exposed to positive leadership or abusive exploitation. Even liberal spirits would not confuse the different milieus of a criminal case and the prerequisite proof associated therewith with the educational setting of a private organization such as the Boy Scouts of America. I am not unaware of some of the classic civil rights cases mentioned by defendant’s counsel at oral argument. Yet I do not find that those civil rights cases assuring blacks equal options have any precedential value in establishing for a purported homosexual any constitutional right to run a Boy Scout Troop. Bluntly, blackness and homosexuality are not the same phenomenon.

“A Scout is Trustworthy” – a phrase by phrase comparison
BSA Scout Law, 1911-1972
BSA Scout Law, 1972 to present
1. A Scout is Trustworthy.
A Scout’s honor is to be trusted. If he were to violate his honor by telling a lie or by cheating or by not doing exactly a given task, when trusted on his honor, he may be directed to hand over his Scout Badge.
A Scout tells the truth. He keeps his promises. Honesty is part of his code of conduct. People can depend on him.
This is Part 1 of a Series on the subversion of the Scout Oath and Law.
Were you a boy scout in the 1970s? Are you a scout leader new to the scouting movement?
If so, you never experienced actual boy scouting. You know only the Improved Scouting Program that was a disastrous subversion of everything that made boy scouting great. It’s not far off to say Improved Scouting was the evil mirror twin of true scouting.
Sound crazy? Good ! That’s the skepticism we need and it will be well served as we examine each point of the Scout Law in turn.
When we’re finished, you’ll understand why boy scouting was almost revered in its heyday and why its echo today remains strong enough for crooks at BSA Inc, like the useless Mike Surbaugh, to look our legacy without raising suspicion.
In the Nineteen Seventies, an oft-heard slogan was, “Do your own thing, man” accompanied by the ever popular, “If it feels good, do it!”
This was the basic rationale for the Improved Scouting Program that came close to killing American boy scouting and did manage to kill boy scouting in most of the anglophone world.
Imposing girls into the Boy Scouts of America was bad enough but they eviscerated the meaning of the movement by gaming the words of the Scout Oath and Law. Students of history recognize the tactic as Phariseeism and the basis for reformed Communist George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four and its up-side-down use of newspeak. to gaslight the subject people of Oceania into submission as the language made it impossible to conceptualize dissent, rebellion or disobedience by eliminating the very possibility of unapproved ideas from the human mind.
BSA made a good start at subverting American morality and manhood by subversively reengineering the Boy Scout Oath. In the posts that follow is a point by point comparison of the authentic Scout Law and its Orwellian substitute. Unfortunately the false law remains in use even now.
In most cases the basic form was preserved but meaning was inverted phrase-by-phrase. The use of carefully selected synonyms allowed quite radical changes to pass unnoticed by all but trained counterpropaganda experts.
